================================ HPC @ Fysikum Documentation Site ================================ This site is designed to support the High Performance Computing (HPC) services provided by the Department of Physics (Fysikum) at Stockholm University. It provides information on usage, policy and best practices, alongide application documentation for the HPC cluster at Fysikum. Sunrise ------- Sunrise is a heterogeneous HPC cluster comprising :ref:`70 compute nodes with 5272 cores in total ` (mostly `AMD EPYC `_ architecture), 42 TiB of memory, 8x NVIDIA HGX A100 80 GB and 8x NVIDIA A100 40 GB GPU cards. The interconnect is InfiniBand 100 GBps EDR. The HPL performance details are given here: `Fysikum HPL `_. The cluster is managed by the Technical Division @ Fysikum for the primary purpose of supporting research performed at the Department of Physics. .. sidebar:: Accessing the cluster The cluster is accessed through the login nodes. The protocol is ssh. The passwords are disabled. When requesting access, please send us your public key. To apply for an HPC account, complete the form at https://it.fysik.su.se/hpc-reg/ and submit it. Getting started --------------- The links on the left contain the information on how to log in, submit a job, and a description of the various nodes available on the cluster. There is also a current list of installed applications and how to use some of the more popular ones. Getting help ------------ Please see the page :ref:`Contact Support` for what information to supply when contacting us. Citing Sunrise in your research ------------------------------- Published research should reference this facility using the following text: This research utilized the **Sunrise HPC facility** supported by the Technical Division at the Department of Physics, Stockholm University. http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.TBD .. toctree:: :hidden: :maxdepth: 3 intro nodes basic-linux usersguide appnotes/gadget2 heasoft grafana support glossary
